Mrs. Linda Ann Eller, age 73, of Douglasville, GA passed away this Sunday, November 29, 2020. Born in Atlanta, GA on November 9, 1947 to Claud and Anne Lanier. On August 9, 1964, Linda married the love of her lifetime, James Eller. She had attended J.E. Brown High School and graduated from Southwest High School in 1965, continuing her studies at the University of West Georgia and Georgia State University. Linda gave 25 years of service as a Legislative Aide for the Georgia House of Representatives. She was an aide to the director of the Fulton County Stadium. And through her loving devotion to faith and family, she became an Interfaith Wedding Officiant for Douglas and Carroll Counties, as a Lady Minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church. She belonged to many Local, State, and National Democratic Committees. Linda had a zest for life that was unparalleled. It showed in her loving abundance for camping, fishing, and singing. To her, the best times were those spent doing the things you love, with those you loved most.
Linda is survived by her husband Jim; her children Vince, Julie, and Conner; her grandchildren Craig, Brittany, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kayleigh, and Jenna; her great-grandchild Hayden; her fur-babies Wuki and Lenny; along with many beloved cousins and friends. Each and every person who was a part of Linda’s life is truly blessed in ways that will carry forth in all their years to come.

At this time, per Linda’s wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no services held. A memorial celebration is being planned for the springtime and more definitive plans will be announced soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate to the memorial fund that has been created in Linda’s honor. The family plans to disperse the funds into several charities in Linda’s name. Donations can be made at: https://everloved.com/life-of/linda-eller/
Ecclesiastes 3 King James Version (KJV) To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
