Kathy Lynn Hill, age 62, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born October 26, 1959 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family, her dogs and she loved Jesus. Known for her biscuits and cornbread, Kathy was talented in the kitchen and could cook anything from scratch. In her spare time, she loved gardening, tending to her roses, and feeding the hummingbirds. Kathy loved driving fast and her favorite color was red.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, Danny Gray; and her mother, Helen Lorraine (Bales) Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Doug Hill; son, Bo Gray (Kristi); daughters, Sabrina Cronham (Chris), Tabitha Gray, and Kristin Gray (Brian Garcia); sisters, Charlotte Taylor (Randy) and Karen Gordon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Gene Fields officiating. Following the service, Kathy will be laid to rest at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
