Mr. James "Bill" Hall

Mr. James “Bill” Hall, age 83, of Winston, GA passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. He was born September 22, 1932 in Asheville, NC. Mr. Hall served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Braves and Falcons fan, even when their season was not going well. Bill re-started baseball in Fairplay, GA in the early 70’s. He loved working in the yard, but most especially he loved to spend time with his family.

Mr. Hall is preceded in death by the love of his life, wife, Frances Hall; parents, James and Daisy Hall; and sisters, Jacquline Weaver, Marie Hughes and Barbara Eller.

He is survived by his son, James “Jim” and Elizabeth Hall, Jr.; daughters, Mindy Fountain and Allen Kilgore as well as Tina and Mike Cross; grandchildren, Jamie and Lauren Fountain, Gina and Josh Hammock, Michael and Erin Cross, Matthew Cross and Kaylan Mason, Justin and River Taylor as well as Aidan Hall; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Rosehaven Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Rosehaven Cemetery.
