A lifelong enthusiast of computers and electronics, Jim turned his passion into both a career and a hobby. His work took him across industries, beginning at Fort Saint Vrain power plant in Platteville, Colorado. Most recently, he served as a Senior Systems Engineer for EDEE, working alongside his brother, David.
Beyond technology, Jim had a love for photography, a passion that not only brought him joy but also led him to the love of his life—his wife. Whether behind a camera or exploring the beauty of the Colorado mountains, Jim found meaning in capturing the world around him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Annette Beecher; his father, Lynn Beecher; brother, David Beecher and his nephew, Nicholas Beecher. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Beecher.
In accordance with his wishes his body will be cremated. Whitley Garner at Rosehaven is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements of Mr. James “Jim” Andrew Beecher.
