Evelyn Juanita Satterfield

Mrs. Evelyn Juanita Satterfield, age 82, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was born in Knoxville, TN on August 14, 1933. Mrs. Satterfield was a fighter up until her last breath. Evelyn was a force to be reckoned with! She was a favorite among her neighborhood, as everyone loved to see her make her daily two mile walk. She enjoyed it more as this was a prime time to chat it up with her girlfriends. Evelyn was a beautiful person with a spunk for life that most can only dream of. Evelyn was a hard worker, a dedicated mother, wife and friend. She never left a task incomplete. We know she is sitting somewhere with a dog on each side of her watching the Game Show Network.

She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, William D. Satterfield; her parents Mack and Mae Rhinehart; her son Allen Satterfield and daughter Sharon Kincaid.

Mrs. Satterfield is survived by her brother, Johnny Rhinehart; sisters, Vickie Freeman and Patsy Sentell; grandchildren, Misty Kincaid, Christie Kincaid and Mark Satterfield; four great-grandchildren and numerous other nephews, nieces and other family members.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 6 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday in the Rosehaven Chapel at 2 o’clock pm. Interment will follow in Rose Haven Cemetery.
