Dianne "Grandi" Bowman

Ms. Dianne "Grandi" Bowman, age 72 of Douglasville, received her wings on Friday January 22, 2016 in Bremen, Georgia. She was born in Savannah, Georgia, on October 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Margaret King Bowers & Ralph Willard Bowers, Sr.. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Ms. Bowman was known as "Grandi" by her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and living life to its fullest, she had a special love for flowers and adventures. "Grandi" was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, William L. Sykes.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Watts and her fiancée' Brandon Moore. Two grandchildren, Jordan Dianne Barnett and Conner T. Watts. Great-Grandchildren, Zeken V. Barron, Winzton K. Barnett and Mason Moore. One sister, Pat Bowers Sykes. One niece, Michelle Ledbetter. One nephew, Ken Ledbetter. One great nephew, Ashby Ledbetter. She is also survived by many other family members and friends including Ron Watts.

Funeral services for "Grandi" will be conducted on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at 6 p.m. from the Rosehaven Chapel of the Whitley - Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Barker and Mr. Morris Roper officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m and on Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Conner Watts, Brandon Moore, Ron Watts, Ken Ledbetter, Stephen Ivey, and Buck Benton.

Honorary pallbearers will include members of the Twisters Softball Team.
