David Wayne Light

David was born in Augusta, Maine on November 30, 1966, the son of the late Edward Royden Mylen and Cheryl Light Mylen. He had worked for Rise Baking Company for a number of years. He was known as one of a kind by his friends. David enjoyed fishing with his family and friends, traveling and when it can time to work, he never missed a day. David also enjoyed collecting coca cola memorabilia, stamps and coins. He was a man that always spoke his mind, he was very particular, to the point and always by the book. David was Catholic by faith and very proud to have served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of twenty two years, Griselda Carolina Soriano-Ovellana; son, Roy David Light, brother, Edward Light and sister, Tammy Light.

The family will receive friends at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home, Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel and Linda Nelson will deliver the eulogy. The United States Army Honor Guard will present military honors.
