Mr. David Lloyd Keith, age 55, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away at home, surrounded by his wife and daughter, on Saturday, June 6, 2020. He was born in Marietta, Georgia on May 17, 1965. David was a gentle giant that loved to ride dirt bikes with his friends and put his wife and daughter above all else. He worked for Delta as a welder for 32 years and was known as “Big” around the GSE shop. David also enjoyed going fishing and bow hunting, watching Peppa Pig with his daughter, dancing in the living room with both his daughter and his wife, and jumping on the trampoline with his daughter. He was a country music fan and was of the Baptist faith. He was very reliable and would do whatever he could for those in need of a favor. Before becoming ill, he was an avid weight lifter and enjoyed being physically fit.
Preceding him in death is his mother, Barbara Ann Jenkins Keith.
David is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 25 years, Victoria R. Lee Keith; his young daughter, Aliyah Marie; a son, Corey Keith, from a previous marriage; his sister, Sara (Dana) Keith Arwood; his mother and father-in-love, Dean and Linda Oberle; sister-in-love, Annette (Frank) Orr; brother-in-love, Jim (Mischelle) McClain; his brothers, Johnnie Dana and Brian (Marie) Keith; his father, Robert Lloyd Keith; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. The funeral service, which will be able to be viewed on livestream, will be held at 2:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel. His burial will take place immediately after the service at Rosehaven Memorial Park in Douglasville, Georgia.
