Charlene Kellett

Born in Winooski June 27, 1937, and the daughter of the late Edward J & Lillian (Adams) Dorey. She was a graduate of Winooski High School class of 1956. She was employed by Winooski City Clerk and General Electric. She was married in St. Stephens Church in Winooski on November 15, 1958 to Alton B. Kellett. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alton Kellett; two daughters Kim Kellett of Marietta, GA, and Julie Dieffenbach and her husband Matthew of Douglasville, Ga, grandson Devon Dieffenbach of Marietta, Ga, and great-grandson Luke Dieffenbach, sisters Mrs. Thomas (Dorlene) Sullivan of South Burlington, Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Bessette of RI, Laurice (Laurie) Farrell of South Burlington. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Bernard C. Dorey, four sisters, Mrs. Harold (Barbara) Poirier, Mrs. Perley (Eleanor) Provost, Mrs. William O’Brien (Phyllis) O’Brien, and Mrs. Robert (Monica) Gamelin, sisters-in-law Sandy Kellett, Cheryl Kellett and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service. Whitley Garner at Rosehaven is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements of Mrs. Charlene Dorey Kellett.
