Carolyn Joyce Williams, age 70, of Winston, GA passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on September 3, 1947. Mrs. Williams loved children and animals. She was a teacher and later became a principal. Carolyn was also a Professional Certified Educational Therapist, PCET, as well as with the National Institute of Learning Disabilities, NILD. Her favorite pastime however, was spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe John and Mildred Adams; sisters, Varena Adams and Peggy Elaine Hopkins as well as nephews, Kevin Hopkins and Randy Hopkins.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Edward Duke Williams; sons, Barrett Williams, Evan (Kelly) Williams and Joel Williams; daughters, Alyce Williams and Jill (Joe) Fievet; brothers, Larry (Marlene) Adams and Eric (Lisa) Adams; sisters, Teresa (Bob) Henley and grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Mark Fievet, Timothy Fievet, Anabeth Fievet, Andrew Fievet, Brooklynn Fievet and Kaleb Allen.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 4 until 7 o’clock pm and on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1 until 3 o’clock pm. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the Rose Haven Cemetery at 3 o’clock with Rev. Garry Tanner officiating.
