Barbara Ann Moon

Mrs. Barbara Ann Fultz Moon, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was born a coal miner’s daughter in Chevrolet, Kentucky on June 16, 1931. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved Marietta, Georgia. Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her husband, H. Richard Moon; and her parents, Carl and Elma Smiddy Fultz. She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Moon (Harry) Owens and Cindy Moon Campbell (Rick Parish); a brother, Jimmy (Phylis) Fultz; a sister, Becky Fultz Ludy; four grandchildren, Julie Owens (Zack) Gaines, Brett (Stephanie) Campbell, Travis (Karamie) Owens, and “Her Baby” Cole Campbell; seven great-grandchildren, Owen Gaines, Reese Gaines, Parker Owens, Hillton Campbell, Jax Owens, Ella Moon Owens and McClain Campbell; as well as numerous other family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
