Avery Fluker, a beloved woman passed away at the age of 66, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. Known for her quick wit and spirited personality, Avery brought joy to everyone she encountered. Whether she was cracking jokes or sharing stories, her sense of humor was contagious.
Avery was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 9th, 1957 to her mother and father. She was the youngest of 4 sisters. Her strong belief in God guided her throughout her life, providing her with strength, comfort, and a sense of purpose. Avery’s faith was an integral part of who she was, and it brought her peace and solace during both joyful and challenging times. Her unwavering devotion to her faith was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a passion for healthcare and not only was a pharmacy technician with a great sense of humor, but a strong, sensible woman of faith.
When she wasn’t busy helping her community, Avery found peace in her favorite pastimes. She could often be curled up in a comfy place, engrossed in her favorite TV shows, finding comfort and entertainment in the stories; chatting on social media, shopping, or learning something new. Additionally, Avery had a creative side and enjoyed making unique and stunning jewelry pieces. Her talent and passion for craftsmanship shone through in every piece she created.
Avery was a woman with a vision. You could not stop her once she set her mind to something. She was active in Women empowerment groups where her counsel was (and is to this day) sought regularly.
Without a doubt, Avery held her family close to her heart. She loved to send thoughtful cards and gifts for any occasion to any and everyone she cared for. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She also had a special place in her heart for her fur babies, Chipper and Freddie, let’s not forget Caesar as well, who brought her and her loving, supportive husband endless joy and companionship. She insisted on having Sunday dinners and excelled in cooking southern comfort foods. Avery took great pride in her home and strived to make sure everything had its place. She was a fan of her hometown Chicago Bears and Bulls and loved to catch a good Atlanta Braves game.
Avery will forever be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her dedication to her profession, and her ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around her. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
