Andrea was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 23, 1980, the daughter of Jack and Sheila Clement. She cultivated and grew deep ongoing relationships with many of her beloved childhood friends. On the surface level, for those that got to know her, it was clearly evident that she had a love for all things spooky. One of the earliest memories of her love for Halloween was dressing up as the Count from Sesame Street. It was through this shared passion that she met and devoted herself to her husband, Lokin. On October 5 2023, they would have celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary. Throughout her life, she befriended and grew close to a great many amazing friends, several of whom are still close friends of the family to this day. Andrea was a fierce advocate for all those she cared for and extended a deep empathy towards others. Andrea’s love extended deeply to all her many furbabies, she had a passion for animals and wanted to love them all. Andrea’s greatest love and devotion, however, was always her children. She lived a vibrant life always having family adventures. She loved to travel with her family to Disney, Tennessee mountains, beaches of Charleston, and even the beautiful state of Texas. Despite all of the amazing places, Andrea’s favorite destination was always St. Simons Island, a place dear to her heart as a place she would often visit since childhood. Andrea enjoyed the theater and shared that love by seeing an opera of the Shining, or their family tradition of seeing A Christmas Carol at the Alliance. Even closer to her heart, Andrea had a great love for music. It was something she shared deeply with her husband. They would often share that love with the older girls by taking them to see concerts of their favorite bands, like the Cure. Her life was in full crescendo and her heart was a beautiful evolving melody that now rests in unresolved silence.
Abrupt as her passing was, there is some solace in knowing that Andrea died doing something that she loved. She deeply enjoyed sharing her passion for spooky fun and genuinely looked forward to sharing that fun with others.
Andrea is survived by her parents, Jack and Sheila Clement, husband, Lokin Crook, daughters, Abigail, Alice, and Anora, and several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
