Lucinda L. Adams

A celebration of life service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time on Sunday.

Lucinda was born on October 8, 1921 in Clayton, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University. While at Auburn she was president of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She and her husband later moved to Dothan and established Adams Trading Center which they operated for many years. Lucinda was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Curtis Adams and is survived by a son, Glenn Adams.
