Mason, 
It’s truly heart wrenching knowing you are gone, but you will never ever be forgotten. You are loved by so many. 

You were such a kind hearted, gentle and goofy guy! I’m going to miss seeing you around and hanging out with your family and your crew. We love you and will miss you tremendously.

I came to the United States 5 years ago to study, Mason was one of the first people I met at school, it was this piece of mountain, which could perfectly be a security guard. You always had a good time when Mason was around, even if he went overboard sometimes... I loved hanging out with him and I was so excited to see him again a couple of weeks ago , he was a really good person and I just want to say I'm going to miss him.

Mason was such a big part of my time in high school; he rode the bus with me and would sometimes walk with me to class.  He would crack jokes and always had the mentality to make anyone and everyone in the room laugh. We would always be joking around and even one Christmas decided that we were going to get gifts for one another. No one was like him and I will cherish all the memories that we had together. 

Mason you are truly one of a kind.  We are so blessed to have you a part of our lives. Your smile and joy will be missed, your snoring on the other hand... The photo is one of many times Mason and many friends hung out. Whether is was Christmas cookie decorating , pumpkin carving, ginger bread houses,  or just a gaming night with multiple screens  and game counsels being toted into the family room you always joined in and brought a smile. We cherish the time that you became family to us. We love you and miss you. 

Mason, you will forever be loved and missed! I remember when you use to come to every single cross country practice just to pick on us for running. You would tell us the only way we would catch you running is if something was chasing you or if there was good food at the end of the finish line. I’ve know you since elementary all the way till the day of you passing and that will forever be a memory I hold in my heart of you because no matter how miserable practice may have been you were always there to bring in the light and laughed. You will forever be in our hearts and on our minds we love you, fly high if there with you dad big guy!

We are heartbroken about Mason's death.  We always enjoyed having him around with Aaron's group of friends or when he'd pop over when he was at Tegrootenhuis' house.  I think my most clear memory (and if you have any of his friends around they will probably remember this) was when the boys decided to put peanut butter on Mason's chest to see if Apollo (our dog) would lick it off.  They were all highly amused about this.  I'm sure Mason is in many pictures of that group of boys.  The one I'm sharing is from Patrick's good-bye at the airport.  Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you.
