Marilyn dedicated her life to raising her nine children with husband, Jr., lovingly and selflessly providing for her children. Her children will forever remember her for the love she showed to all family and friends, watching the daily Mass on TV when she was no longer able to get out of the house, and her daily praying hands she would send to family every day after she would say the Rosary.
After she married Chet Swiontek in 1988, she traveled many times to the west to visit Chet’s family, whom she grew to love and welcome into our family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years, Joseph (Jr.) Koperski; second husband, Chester Swiontek of 25 years; parents John and Geneva Schumaker; siblings Jim, Theresa, Ruthy, Gerie; and grandson, Jacob Kaminski.
Marilyn will never be forgotten by her children Jim (Deb) Koperski, Nancy Rewa, Shirley (Dan) Kern, Joe (Pam) Koperski, Bobby (Lynne) Koperski, David (Bonnie) Koperski, Ruthie Kaminski, Paul (Carrie) Koperski, Jeff (Pam) Koperski; brother-in-law, Daryl Fleser; stepchildren Beverly (Mike) Black, Cathy (Bob) Amann, Rachel (Todd) Greenman; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
