Darlene Dykstra, age 81, went to be with her loving husband of 56 years, Loy Dykstra. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Laura (Rick) Miller, Dan (Ellen) Dykstra, Loren (Julie) Dykstra, Kevin (Ronda) Dykstra, Todd (Melissa) Dykstra; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Darwin Huff; sister, Barbara Zuidersma; brother, Lynn Huff; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Darlene was known as “Cookie Grandma” to her grandchildren as she frequently enjoyed delivering cookies made with love.
Visitation with Darlene’s family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, January 3 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4 with one hour of visitation prior at Calvary Church of Wayland, 304 S. Main St. Interment will take place at Jones Cemetery in Dorr.
