

Zoe Denoux Rivet, 92, a native of Brusly McCall and lifelong resident of Donaldsonville, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired in 1977 from South Central Bell with 30 years of service as a telephone switchboard operator. She is survived by two daughters, Rhea Camardelle and husband, Donnie, and Beverly Blanchard and husband, Dennis, all of Donaldsonville. Survivors also include the following: one sister, Kate D. Politz of Cypress, TX; four grandchildren, Cassie C. Millet and husband, Gary; Coby Camardelle and wife, Heidi; Betsy B. Landry and husband, Dwayne, all of Gonzales, LA; and Dennis J. Blanchard, Jr. (D.J.) and wife, Susan, of Houston, TX; and seven great-grandchildren, Gary, III (Trey) and Mason Millet, Caden Camardelle , Camryn and Chloe Aucoin, and Dwayne Michael and Logan Landry. Zoe was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ray V. Rivet; parents, Sabin and Lucy Dugas Denoux; four sisters and four brothers, Armide Falcon, Agnes Berot, Ann Theriot, Lucy Dias, Howard, Noel, Sr., Sabin, Jr. and J.Lee. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi with Mass to follow. Entombment will be in Ascension Catholic Mausoleum.
