Stephan, It's almost a year now since God took you to Heaven; but I still have the birthday message you sent me last year via email. I will never delete it! In fact, I cannot bring myself to delete your email address. My heart is still so empty since you left us. You know how much I loved you; you were my most special nephew. Today Reeves makes his first Holy Communion; I can feel your pride. He too, is a very special boy and carries your deep sense of faith. I thank Toni for continuing his Catholic education.

How sad to hear of your loss.  My deepest sympathy to you, your husband and family.

My dear Stephan,
      There was no way of knowing when I left the hospital at 3:30 on that fatal Thursday afternoon, that you were about to draw your last breath.   It’s not supposed to happen that way. My every image of you, full of hunting, fishing, cooking, friends and your children, shows that mischievous twinkle in your eyes. The joy you took in living and joking with everyone, sometimes contradicted the seriousness of your commitment to your family.  I grieve, not just over your death, but over the incredible suffering you experienced the last 4 years of your life. It has taken me over a week to get these thoughts down in writing, because it is so painful for me; for even in death, Steph, you continue to touch my life and the lives of many people. Your memory will remain forever in my heart.

To Michael and Family: I remember Stephan as Mike's little brother,yet he was his own person. Mike and I are classmates and I will always remember him and his jokes, you see when you are a part of a class you are a part of a family so therfore stepahn was our brother too. You and your family will continue to be in our prayers pretty eyes

Lisa,Michael and family, I was sorry to hear of Stephan's passing. I am also sorry I could not make it to the funeral. The Folse family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We are sorry for your loss. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comfort by the love and support of family, friends and your loving angel who is now in heaven looking over you.

I was sadden to hear of Stephan's passing but God knows best.  Everyone loved him but God loves him more. We were not only classmates, we grew up together and were also friends.  He will deeply be missed by all who knew him.
