Bobby, also affectionately known as "Boo" to his loved ones, was a kind and gentle man. He had a big love for his family. His 3 "girls" were his whole world. When young, he loved to dress them up and show them off to the many friends and family around their little town. He even once braved a trip to bring them to Houston to visit his sister, it was a real adventure for the young girls! Bobby was a proud grandfather, doting on his 7 grand babies. He spent every vacation from work, and sometimes more, to travel to spend as much time with them as possible. He loved his parents so much, that God gave him 2 extra to call his own. Bobby enjoyed working in customer service. As a young man, he worked in his family business, Dimm's Bakery. He continued his career when he went to work for Wal-Mart, where he enjoyed 18 years of service. While he traveled and lived in several beautiful places, a piece of his heart was always in Louisiana and Mississippi, with his parents and his girls. Bobby loved his family so deeply that, the hole he leaves will be felt for years to come.
He is survived by his mother Oris Caillet Becnel, step-mother Alice Lewis Dimm, sister Theresa Tran (Van). He leaves his daughters Sandy Reid (Josh), Candy Russell (Jimmy), Ashlee Nelson (Jeremiah).
He had 7 grandchildren, Bailey Russell, Izabella Nelson, Haylee Reid, Hannah Daigle (Ethan), Olivia "L" Nelson, Alex Reid, Wyatt Reid. He had a niece, two nephews, several aunts, cousins, great nephews and many friends. He is also survived by a life partner, Barth Cox.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert Dimm Sr, step-father Willie Becnel, twin Brothers Robert and Ralph Dimm, and niece Marianne Lily "Yeye" Tran.
Bobby's girls wish to thank the employees of the Wal-Mart in Pittsburgh, Kansas for their kindness and compassion they have shown their daddy during his time there, that continues even now.
Daddy, we won't forget the dessert!
