I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Paul's wake and Funeral Mass due to my  limited mobility.  I will certainly cherish the many memories of Paul, Evelyn, and their family because of our close working relationship at Shell Chemical for many years.  I extend to you my deepest sympathy at this time of the loss of such a good and caring man.  I looked forward to his Christmas card each year, which always included a birthday wish for my December 15th birthday.  "Doc" will be surely missed!

Paul, Joan and Edmund,
Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your father Uncle Paul. He was a kind man and a favorite uncle. I will never forget waiting for them to come visit for weekends. I would pace waiting to hear the engine of his fine automobiles of their arrival. His stories and laugh will remain with me esp. his locomotive train sound. His love for peanut butter on everything, and his talent for barbequing. He is sadly missed. His father was our family doctor for many years and delivered me at Charity Hosdpital.  He would make house calls to Montz in the middle of the night.  He was not only our doctor but our very kind and gentle friend.  His son must have inherited his gentleness.  Our loving sympathy from all the Zephirin L.
