KiKi was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army Air Corps, and was a postal worker for 41 years with the United States Post Office. He enjoyed doing yardwork for himself and others, visiting and telling stories with family and friends, and watching boxing.
He is survived by his sons, Tim (Paulette) Templet and Kevin (Lori) Templet; his grandchildren, Jason, Brennan (Alisha), Scott (Leah) Templet, and Greta (Neal) Belmonte; his great grandchildren, Andon, Luke, Annabelle, Kate, Alexander, and Elle Templet, and Caroline and Allison Belmonte.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Carol Brou Templet; parents, Zenon and Adeline Templet; grandson Chad Templet; brother Delnon Templet, Sr.; sisters, Lillian Bouchereau and Elvie Morris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be immediately following at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Mausoleum.
