Mirea LeJeune Tortorich

Mirea LeJeune Tortorich, 89, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Seraphine Bessonet (Calvin); one son, Glynn Tortorich (Kelly); one sister, Ruby Causin; five grandchildren, Deidre Bergeron (Chris), Nicole Owers (Randy), Dr. Calvin Bessonet III (Toni), Glynna Mayers (Wess), and Sammy Tortorich (Casey); eight great grandchildren, Emily, Christopher, Gregory, and Katherine Bergeron, Noah and Jonah Owers, Hayden and Brooklynn Bessonet and one sister-in-law, Loretta LeJeune. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Tortorich; parents, Elmira and Joseph LeJeune; one sister, Josie LeJeune and five brothers, Clovis, Roy, Roland, George, and Joseph LeJeune . Pallbearers will be Glynn Tortorich, Calvin Bessonet Jr., Sammy Tortorich, Chris Bergeron, Christopher Bergeron, and Gregory Bergeron. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Calvin G. Bessonet III. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 9:00a.m. until 11:45a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville until Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville conducted by Rev. Paul Yi. Interment to follow in church mausoleum.
