Matthew David Rivere, 20, a native and resident of Brusly St. Vincent, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Matthew had a contagious smile, he was a kindhearted person who lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger. Matt also had a passion for fishing, crawfishing and hunting. Matthew leaves behind to cherish his memory his fiancé, Caitlin Olivier; mother, Rachel Richard and father, Garrett Rivere and wife, Elizabeth; four siblings, Maison, Dakota and Briana Rivere and Kayla Gaudet; two godchildren, Cole and Colton Rivere; grandmother, Dianne Rivere and grandfather, Aubrey Richard and Audrey Richeaux and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jessie “Hollywood” Rivere and his grandmother, Shirley Aucoin Richard. Regretfully due to present circumstances, a private service will be held but know that all who were loved by our family will feel our love and apparition even in your absence.
