Miss you, still not okay, your legacy is Thomas.

I miss you all the time, more so our chats almost weekly especially at Christmas. I sent the boys a card but I'm still sad and miss you dearly.

I am so sad and I miss you Aunt Lyn. I don't want it to be a year later because I don't want you to be gone. I know you are still here in the amazing gift that is Thomas Judy. He is so smart, kind and patient. He is so politically aware and considerate of others. He is you but in a fabulous gumbo mixture that is the best of you and Tom. Jack thinks that you gave been helping Peyton Manning for Thomas and Alexander thinks he is right. Some days I look at Claire's pointy Lynnie chin and it is like a brick on my heart. She is beautiful just like you and her spirit matches her face. I think of you daily.

I love you and miss you ... Precious memories will forever stay in my heart... No more pain my friend see you when it is my turn to meet and worship the Lord forever!

I just heard the sad news of the passing of the most wonderful spirit and vibriant lady. My heart is heavy and my sympathy deep.

      When Tom stopped by the office earlier today, I thought for sure that he needed more rubber bands to ensure that Thomas could get his braces off as soon as possible. While that was true, I never would have imagined to learn that Marilyn passed away. Still shocked and speechless, I can't help but look at the beautiful picture of your mom and think of her smile and laughter. One of the blessings of my job as Thomas' orthodontist is that I not only get to see young kids grow and change, but in the process I get to know their families. Marilyn (I didn't know everyone called you Lyn!), I want you to know I remember all the conversations we ever had about Thomas' front tooth and will do everything possible to ensure that the next time you see him he has a full toothy grin! You will be greatly missed by all. Tom and Thomas, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My prayers and hearfelt condolences go out to all of Lyn's family and friends.  Lyn and I attended U.N.O. together many years ago, having the times of our lives, and as with so many relationships, time separated us.  Through a mutual friend Shelly, we had all re-connected and I was looking forward to finally meeting up again real soon.  May we all do everything in our power to stay close to those we care about, as this loss teaches us that life can be very short.  Lyn, your beautiful spirit is with the angels.

Marilyn and I were the closest of friends, when I lived in Denver.  Even though the years and the miles seperated us, our love for each other kept us close.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.... from those in Louisiana, where she was so proud to be from - to Cololrado where she was so proud to live.       I think of her now in heaven, being welcomed by her loved ones who have passed before her, and I am comforted knowing that she will be there to welcome me when it is my time.       It was such a privilege to have had her in my life - to be one of my loved ones - and what an HONOR is was to be one of hers.

Tom and Thomas you are the loves of Aunt Lyn's life and she will be with you for time and eternity. We are forever at your beck and call. Never underestimate the power of people from a "ville". We will do anything for either of you...always. We love you!

I went to Nicholls with Lyn and chatted with her on occasion when I worked at the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. She always treated with me kindness, and I am so sorry to hear about her death. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family. She will be missed.

After well over 20 years I have lost my best friend ever. Over the years, the distance of us living apart never kept us from having out long talks, laughs and crys and an occasional visit. Ironically I hear about Marilyns passing whilst going to the Barbra Streisand concert, which in the early 1990's, her and i watched at least 50 times. We had just spoken a few days earlier and mutually screamed when she heard I got tickets. I went to the concert despite hearing of her passing because I knew she would have kicked my butt if i hadnt gone. But each moment there I cried when our songs came on. Marilyn and I were the best of friends, through good and bad, and I will miss her deeply every day for the rest of my life. From Miami to Raleigh to Denver I was always with her..and I hope that one day, Ill see her again and she can say "Hey Guy" which is the first words she ever spoke to me when we met in Miami. To Tom and Thomas Jr and all of the family,, my heart is with you during this awful time, and I simply cannot say enough, Love to all. John - New York and my partner Tom .

While I didn't know her long, I remember Marilyn as such a positive, fun person to be around.  I'm so glad to have met her and am very sorry she left this world too soon.  To her family, I hope your fond memories provide some comfort during this sad time.

I will miss my Marilyn for the rest of my life. I heard the news of her passing on route to the Barbra Streidand Concert in Brooklyn which was her and my favorite singer in the 1990's when I met Marilyn whilst attended FIU in Miami. My partner Thomas Attonito and myself are deeply saddened and shocked over her passing and she will always be a part of me for the rest of my life. She was a loving special friend to me always and over 20 years of hours on the phone,and yes hours of laughs despite the distance between Denver and New York. I will miss those conversations and her always as she was such a part of my life. My deepest deepest sympathy to Tom and Thomas Jr, I am always here for them. And to the family I am heartbroken and wordscould never ever express how I feel. You were such a good friend to me at Nicholls, Lyn.  I remember our college days fondly and how you took me under your wing (despite being several inches shorter) and brought me on board KVFG.  We had great times then and later in New Orleans. You were so vivacious and full of life,  and brought that to everyone around you. My deepest sympathy to your family. I worked with Lyn in 1985 in Golden Meadow, LA. in Radio and Cable TV. She was a fun and loving person, a pleasure to know. We did not work together long, before she moved on.
