Maria Ann "Cutie" "Sweetie" Russo

Maria Ann Russo was called home on Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was 51 and a resident of Belle Rose. Maria proudly worked at D.A.A.R.C. preparing meal kits. She also enjoyed latch hooking, coloring, playing UNO, watching TV and classic movies, feeding goldfish, spending time with her favorites and an avid LSU fan. She is survived by her caring mother, Annie LeBlanc Russo; sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Donny O’Neal, Peggy and Neil Hebert, Patrice and Keith “Tweet” Arvel, and Annette and Ehren “Wheeler” Oschwald; brothers and sisters in law, Paul and Karen Russo and Vince and Dawn “Bette” Russo, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter J. Russo, Sr. and a brother, Peter J. “Chico” Russo, Jr. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Jules Catholic Church at 2:00 pm. Entombment in the church mausoleum to follow. Pallbearers will be Paul Russo, Vince Russo, Donny O’Neal, Neil Hebert, Keith “Tweet” Arvel, and Ehren “Wheeler” Oschwald.
