Maria was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed spending time at her home, reading The Bible, and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Doug Schexnayder Jr. (Amber), Kyle Kimball (Samii), and Jacob Kimball; five grandchildren, James Harris, Janea Harris, Haley Harris, Roland Kimball, and Clay Schexnayder; mother, Gladys Charlet and her two siblings, Bert Alleman and Regina Droz.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Schexnayder; her father, Robert Alleman, and her brother, Timothy Alleman.
A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, LA, on Tuesday, October 29, 2026 from 6pm until memorial service at 7pm.
