Lester Joseph Chiquet

He retired from Shell Oil Company and was born on January 22, 1939. Lester is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jackie Gomez Chiquet; his sons, Bryan Chiquet (Keely), Kip Chiquet (Alida); his daughters, Robbin Boudreaux (David) and Dawn Schexnayder (David); grandchildren, Brett Chiquet (Michael Pirics), Kayla Causey (Scott), Jake Boudreaux (Carly), Jamie Lee (Aaron), Cody Schexnayder (Brittany), Cade Schexnayder (Kali), Lanie Hano (Brent), and Miranda Guarisco (Dominic); great-grandchildren; Henley and Richard Chiquet-Pirics, Jack Causey, Aaron Lee, Jr., Maddox and Flynn Schexnayder, Kason Hano, Kane and Parker Guarisco; and brother Emile Chiquet, Jr. (Audrey).

Preceded in death by his parents, Emile A. Chiquet, Sr. and Elma Anne Chiquet; his brother,

Robert Chiquet; and great-grandson, Michael Schexnayder.

Visitation will held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and to continue on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian burial for 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
