Elwood Joseph "E.J." Albarado Jr.

E.J. Albarado Jr. a resident of Prairieville and native of Belle Rose, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the age of 49. He was the owner of E.J.’s Landscaping and Lawn Service. E.J. loved anything sports related and collected sports memorabilia. He was also an avid LSU and Saints fan. E.J. also had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his parents, Elwood Sr. and Linda Albarado; sons, Shawn and Jordan Albarado; brother, Danin Albarado and wife Ashlee; aunts, Carolyn Gros and husabnd Rogers, Delores Anthony and Lydia Meche and husband Hubert; uncles, Albert Albarado and Frank Martin; godfather, Isley Albarado; and along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Hilda Causin and Paul and Faustine Sanchez Albarado; his godmother, Barbara Martin; and uncle, Donald J Causin. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, at St. Jules Catholic Church, Belle Rose from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. We want to thank the doctors and nurse of Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, especially his attending nurse Chris for their great care. We also want to thank the nurses at Fresenius Dialysis Unit, Dr. Guidry, Dr. John Tabor, Jr and Dr. Christianson.
