Charles Anthony Blanchard Jr.

Charles was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was very creative and hardworking. Charles made several replicas of different buildings, houses, charters, and anything imaginable. He was the former owner of Blanchards Tractor Repair and worked for John Deer for over twenty years. Charles also worked at Sears in the Hardware department at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.

Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of sixty one years, Barbara Hebert Blanchard; one son, Kevin Blanchard and two sisters, Carol Dugas and husband, Medric and Myrna Allen and husband, Robert.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Marie Hidalgo Blanchard.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
