Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Anita Rae Worthley passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 28, 2024. She is reunited with many of her family and friends, and the love of her life Jack where they are truly dancing with the stars.
Born Anita Rae Bartlett in Cayucos, CA, she moved with her family to Sultana, CA, at the young age of 2 years and resided here for the rest of her life. Anita was a born homemaker, an excellent cook, seamstress, and caregiver. She loved working in her yard and spent her days among her flowers until her passing. Family was her greatest joy, and she was most thankful for living to see and enjoy her 9 great grandchildren. Always quick with a smile and a hug, Anita was, in turn, loved by all who knew her including her church family, dancing friends, neighbors, or friends of her immediate family.
Anita is survived by her two children, Cher Kent and husband Gary and Steve Worthley and wife Vicki; her grandchildren Jonathan Worthley, Elizabeth Ronan, Jessica Yee, William Worthley, Nicole Donat, and Andrew Worthley. Predeceased family members include her parents, James and Virginia Bartlett; husband, Alfred Jackson Worthley; and grandson Dusty Ragsdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to Dinuba Christian Church, Alta District Historical Society, or the donor’s favorite charity.
