Zachary "Zakk" Levi Peck

PECK, Zachary “Zakk” Levi, Age 35 ~ of Peck's Hill, Bear River went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on July 25, 2014, gone too soon, but God makes no mistakes. Zakk was working in Dawson City, Yukon at the time of his passing which was caused by a heart condition he had been born with. Zakk was born in Digby General Hospital, he was the blessed and beautiful son of Lindsey and Gayle Peck, and the heart and soul of his little sister and also best friend, Jessica Peck all whom all shared a very special bond. Zakk was a born again Christian who worshipped at the Greenland Bible Chapel, He was a very family orientated young man, who made family first priority. He loved most of all, God's beautiful creation. He was an avid outdoors-man, he enjoyed and loved chasing the woods, going to the beach, canoeing, hunting, fishing, flying with Ry, music, adventure and time at the family's White Sand Camp. Zakk loved hockey and was a devoted Pittsburg Penguins fan. He had a love for his special pets, Georgia, Ricky, Williah and Kooter. Zakk touched the lives of many with his compassionate ways, huge heart and beautiful smile. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his loving parents, Lindsey and Gayle Peck; devoted sister, Jessica Peck, all of Peck's Hill, Bear River; his wife, Marie Peck, Digby; maternal grandmother, Edna Peck, Greenland; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends who he loved deeply and dearly. Zakk was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Lewis Peck; paternal grandparents, Watson and Francis Peck. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby. A memorial service will be at 2pm, Friday August 8th at the Greenland Bible Chapel. Uncles, Jamie and Greg Peck will officiate. Interment will take place on Peck's Hill at a later date.
