Theodore Lewis Rice

Rice, Theodore Lewis, 82, Bear River passed away June 23,2011 in Digby General Hospital. Born on February 17, 1929 he was a son of the late Ira and Leta Rice. He drove a taxi for many years and in later years was self employed as an electrician. Surviving are his wife Linda Mae (Wile) Rice, son Glenn Lewis Rice, Bear River; sister Frances ( Rice) Fetter, Bear River; brother Melvin Cress, Bear River; and 4 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ira and Leta, he was predeceased by a brother Maurice. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Saturday from Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525) and from where funeral service will be 2pm Sunday. Pastor Trevor Longmire will officiate with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River. Donations in memory can be made to the Bear River Baptist Church.
