Mr. Kenneth Joseph Smith

Smith, Kenneth Joseph – 79 of Ashmore, Digby Co. passed away March 8, 2010 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late John and Madeline (Smith) Deveau. Ken was a carpenter and was employed by Harry Sabean Contracting for 25 years. Ken had also been a fisherman and laborer. Ken is survived by his son, James (Shelley), Gilberts Cove; daughters, Linda Smith, Deborah (Chris) Smith and Lisa (Marty) Titus, all of Ashmore; grand-daughters, Ashley and Ariel.Ken was predeceased by his wife Phyllis Joan (Thibodeau) Smith; sister, Florence Frost. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Friday in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton, Father Keith Billard officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Donations in Ken’s Memory can be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.
