Jeannie Bragg

Jeannie Bragg, enjoyed her last years living in the town of Digby, Nova Scotia. She was born Jeannie Williams Benson on Nov 21, 1935 in Toronto, Ontario. She sadly passed away Dec 28 2022 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, NS at the age 87. Jeannie was the daughter of the late Thomas Benson (Edinburgh Scotland) and Margarete Benson of Toronto, Ontario. Jeannie was predeceased by her husband Robert James Bragg. Jeannie leaves behind her only sibling and beloved sister, Alice Fobert of Digby. Jeannie was very happy enjoying her life with her dear friend and companion, Rex Robbins whom she loved dearly.

Many duties came with being married to Robert Bragg and living on the Waldeck East road; here there were many years of being The Farmer's Wife, milking cows, collecting eggs, cooking, preserving vegetables, making the jams and pickles and baking the most amazing bread, all while keeping an immaculate home. When Robert retired they spent 16 winters at their Leesburg Florida home where they lived, loved and laughed. Her favourite role above all was being a mother and Earth Angel for her five children , she is survived by Gordon (Colleen Manzer), Roberta (Donald Yanke), Angus (Julie Marquette) Wendy (Rick Beaton), and Ian. Also so cherished by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Jeannie was a good and kind person; she will be cherished in the many hearts that she touched.
