Jack was well known in the community as the Christmas tree man. Selling tractor trailer loads, going around the world. He won several competitions for the trees and one was being considered for the tree that goes to Boston.
Jack also collected antiques, going to yard sales was something that brought him great enjoyment. Every Saturday morning he would leave the house between 5 and 6am. He always said “had to get out there early to get the good deals.” Genealogy was important to Jack. He had done lots of research on the family history. Another hobby of Jack’s was collecting newspaper clippings. He has “several” binders filled with articles on everything you could ever imagine.
In his last few years he was very grateful for the special care he got from his great granddaughter, Tannah, and Barb; along with those who would visit and sit with him and listen to his stories.
He will be missed.
