Edna Clara Burton

Burton, Edna Clara – 87 of Ohio, Weymouth passed away peacefully on October 2nd, 2014 at Tideview Terrace with supportive Staff and daughter by her side. Born in Weaver Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Grace (LeBlanc) Lovitt. In her younger years she worked in Weymouth before marrying her husband and travelling where he was stationed with the armed forces. They settled in Ohio, where good times were shared with family and in more recent years spent at Gladys with sisters sharing laughs and playing cards. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; her grandchildren enjoyed their time with her and her many stories, encouragement and witty sense of humor. Edna is survived by daughter, Debbie (Allan); son, Kevin (Doris Ann); grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Abby, Levi; great-granddaughters, Madilynn, Elin, Lilly and baby girl soon to-be; sisters, Sadie Buckley, Gladys Robicheau. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; daughter Susan; sisters, Nellie and Kathleen. Visitation will be 7-9pm on Monday, October 6th, from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth. Funeral Service will be 11am, Tuesday October 7th from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth. Father Henry Smolenaars presiding.
