A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle; Earl was born in Parkers Cove to the late Delma and Vivian (Bent) Hudson. He spent most of his adult life as a scallop fisherman, woods worker and later, owner of Basin Taxi with the love of his life Joye (Stark). With Joye, Earl shared 52 married years, and raised 3 daughters, Patricia, Krista and Nancy, who were the lights of his life.
Earl was the true definition of a family man, no one loved his family as much as he did. He loved spending time with family, the camp where he spent many a night with his grandsons, and talking with all of his customers; he enjoyed many parking lot and Tim Horton’s conversations. He was known for his love of family time, pranks and his laugh. He cherished spending time with friends and he loved their children as his own. Earl enjoyed teaching Jeremy to drive, motorbike trips with Brady, many rides home for Waylon, supper dates with Shaylee, donuts with Johnny and Mondays with Aria.
Besides his parents, Earl was predeceased by his daughter Patricia and his step-father Ernest Orde. He is survived by his wife, Joye; daughters, Krista (Mark) Covert, Nancy (John) Morehouse; grandchildren, Jeremy (Becky), Brady, Waylon, Shaylee, Johnny; great-granddaughter Aria; brother Woody (Iris) Hudson; sisters, Gail Bent, Pamela (Michael) Marshall, step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He has left a huge hole in the hearts and lives of all who loved him.
