Diana Lee Auby

Sadly we announce the passing of Diana Lee Auby - Age 72 of Deep Brook, who passed away January 6th, 2018 in Annapolis Community Health Centre. Born March 28, 1945 in Ottawa, Diana was a daughter of the late William Alexander and Jean Cora (McPhee) Ledgerwood. She moved with her military family across the country with a posting to CFB Petawawa where she met the love of her life, Wayne. They were eventually married in Hamilton, Ont. where they started their family with daughters, Carrie and Amy. Diana and Wayne's love of family brought them to Deep Brook, NS in 1988 where they have resided until her passing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Diana is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Auby; daughters, Carrie Lee-Ann Auby (Darren McInnis); Amy Linn (Ken) Ross; grandchildren, Darrian McInnis-Auby, Brady McInnis-Auby, Emily McInnis-Auby and Madison Ross; sister, Janice May Ray; brother, William Donald John Ledgerwood; nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Ray, Cindy Collins, DJ Ledgerwood, Corrie Ledgerwood, Al Ledgerwood, Christina Auby, Mitchel Auby, Cassie Auby. Visit with the family to Celebrate Diana's Life at Jayne's funeral Home, Digby (902-245-2525) on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 1-4pm with a time to share at 1:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in Clementsport at Old St. Edward's Anglican Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
