Carol worked for DB Kenny Fisheries for around 20 years. She loved playing the guitar, singing and quilting. She was a member of the Freeport Legion and enjoyed helping out with the local seniors club. If you ever stopped in for a meal, you never left hungry. Up until the last few months, Carol was always chewing her Doublemint gum. She was known to have worn out a few rocking chairs while she was knitting and humming a tune.
Carol is survived by daughters, Lori Murphy, Lisa (Blake) Morehouse; son, Jerry (Tammy) Thompson; grandchildren, Louis (Heidi) Thompson, Rachel Lombard, Melissa Titus, Ronald Morehouse, Carol Lombard, Nicole Titus; great grandchildren, Dakota, Riley, Melanie, Carter, Jagger, Tyson, Joseph, Skyler, Aden and Jaxson. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Glavin; brothers, Alden, Berry; sons, Dean Thompson, Alvin Titus Jr..
Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday October 5 with funeral service 11am October 6 all from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Lou Outhouse officiating with burial in Westport. The family would like to thank Tideview Terrace for their compassion and care.
