Beverly Joan Lewis

Lewis, Beverly Joan – Age 74 of Plympton passed away in Digby General Hospital on July 31, 2015. Born in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Doucette) Morrison. Over the years Beverly worked at: Connor Brothers Sardine Plant; Austin Mullen’s Mink Ranch and as a duty aid at Wemouth school. Beverly loved life, her family, her beach and company. She was an avid penny sale shopper and enjoyed her break open tickets. Beverly is survived by husband, Jack Lewis; daughters, April (Eldred), Tiverton; Pam (Peter), Lighthouse Rd.; Lisa (Robert) Marshalltown; sons, Roger (Charlene), Concession; James (Jackie), Gilbert’s Cove; Sydney (Lori), Marshalltown; Dean (Betty), Lewiston Road; Roy (Jackie), Southville; sisters, Rae Stoddard and Shirley Stewart, both of Ontario; 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Anthony and great-grandson, Leland. Visitation will be 7-9, Monday August 3rd, from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 5114 Hwy 1, Weymouth North (902-245-2525). Funeral Service will be 11am, Tuesday from Ashmore Bethel Baptist Church with Mr. Marc Phillips presiding. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Plympton.
