Mrs. Barbara Lee Shea Thompson

Thompson, Barbara Lee – 83, Westport passed away August 14th at home. Born in Westport, Barbara was a daughter of the late Ward and Rosa (Titus) Shea, and step-daughter of the late Gordon Dakin. Barbara was a member of the Westport Church of Christ and a member of the Super Seniors of Westport. Barbara is survived by daughters Patricia (Jimmy Outhouse) Westport; Mary (Gerald) Moore, Freeport; Paula (Stephen) Newman, Tiddville; son Jeff, Westport; daughter-in-law Marie Thompson, Westport; brothers Ronald (Pauline) Dakin, Victoria BC; Arthur “Artie” (Ruth Ann) Dakin, Yarmouth; sisters in law Linda Dakin, and Ann Dakin both of Ontario; uncle Arnold (Hazel) Titus, Westport; grandchildren Yvette (Roy) Thompson, Westport; Kristy Moore, Upper Clements; Brian (Lorraine) Moore, Central Grove; Philip (Tanya) Outhouse, Kentville; Grant Outhouse, Pubnico; Kirk Outhouse, Port Maitland; Joseph Newman, Grand Prairie AB; Shealee Newman, Tiddville; great grandchildren Adrian Small, Caitlyn Small, Daniel Moore, Emily Doucette, Griffin Moore, Jesse Burns, Sawyer Burns. She was predeceased by husband Harold Frederick Thompson, son Gordon, brothers Ernest Dakin and John “Jack” Dakin. Funeral service will be held 11 am in Westport Church of Christ, Lou Outhouse presiding. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Westport Church of Christ, or charity of choice.
