Saulnier, Anthony Joseph, 82 of Digby, passed away December 22, 2012 at home. Born in Saulnierville, Digby Co. he was a son of the late Lionel and Edith (Moulaison) Saulnier. Anthony was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Digby, member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree, past member of the Digby Fire Dept. and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20, Digby. He was a barber in Digby for over 40 years and his favorite hobby was making sailing ships. Surviving are daughter, Cyndy Kenley, Windsor; step- daughter, Diane (Richard) VanTassel, Digby; step-son, Mark Melanson, Perth, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Hazel Elizabeth (Lewis) Saulnier; his second wife, Marguerite (Boudreau) Saulnier; step-son, Max Lewis Robbins; brothers, Raymond, Charlie, Clifford; sisters, Emma, Viola, and Regina. Funeral Mass at 11am, Wednesday April 24th, in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Father Henry Smolenaars presiding. Committal of ashes in Ste. Marie Catholic Cemetery, Church Point.
