Doucette, Annie Ola – 100, of Plympton passed away May 2, 2011 in Digby General Hospital. Born July 16, 1910 in Plympton, Annie was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Doucette, formerly of Plympton. Annie enjoyed knitting, and making quilts. She was a member of the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Plympton. Annie is survived by sons James (Tut) Doucette, Richard “Ritchie” Doucette; grandchildren Elizabeth, Kathleen, Marie, Jennie, James, Frank, Christine, Denise; step granddaughters Anna and Susie; great grandchildren Tracey, Christine, Michael, Kayla, Katrina, Wesley, Jacqueline, Emily, Jordan, Alex, Alyssa; great great grandchildren Nathan, Devin, Macy, Ava, Jayden, Janaiah, Mercedes and Nevaeh. Annie will be sadly missed by Julie Doucette, Dorothy Doucette and Anna Comeau. Besides her parents, Annie was predeceased by brothers Irving, Willis, Edward, Eugene, David and Charles, and sisters Eva, Edna, Alvena, Ena, Flora, Alma, Doris and Eleanor. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (245-2525). Funeral 11am Thursday in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton. Father Keith Billiard presiding. Interment in parish cemetery. Donations in Annie’s memory may be made to the charity of choice.
