Fredrick Richard Pedlar

Fred was born on March 30, 1950 to John and Audrey Pedlar in Detroit, Michigan. Fred graduated from high school in 1968 from Redford High. He was drafted into the United States Military where he served two years as Military Police. In 1981 Fred met the love of his life Susan Pedlar at Welcore Machinery. They were married on August 14, 1986. They had one son Nicholas (34).

Fred had a passion for anything outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He also loved antiques and antiquing to find the oldest treasures.

Fred was preceded by his wife of 23 years in 2009 from cancer. He was also preceded in death by both his parents, John and Audrey Pedlar and his Aunt Kaye of Denver, Colorado.

Fred is survived by his son Nicholas Pedlar of Stockbridge and his partner Nick Schröeder.

He is also survived by his sister, Linda (Gary) Snell of Redford, Michigan, his brother, Jack (Carol) Pedlar of Lake City, Michigan also surviving is his nephew, Todd(Emily) Pedlar of Lake City, Michigan, James (Suzy) of Fenton, Michigan, Shawn(Tamra) Pedlar of Gaines, Michigan, Brian Pedlar of Gulfport, Mississippi, Christie (Dave) Sabon of Hartland, Michigan, Kelly Snell of Redford, Michigan Shalamar Howard of Dexter, Michigan, Justin (Trish) Miller of Dexter, Michigan, Amie (Paul) Hackworth of Marshall, Michigan, Angie (Anthony) Nelson of Makawao Maui, Hawaii, Joe Montibeller of San Francisco, California, Alice Montibeller of Ypsilanti, Michigan Also survived by is his aunt and uncle, in-laws, Don and Becky Mshar of Sawyersville, Pennsylvania. He was also survived by many great nieces and nephews, who he adored, and loved very much.
