Age 87, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born December 6, 1931, the son of Eliseo and Mary (O'Sullivan) Verduzco in Detroit, MI. Edward served in the U.S. Army as an engineer during the Korean Conflict. He married Pat MacBrien and she survives. Edward loved walking his best friend and golden retriever Sundance who preceded him in death. He also enjoyed archery and belonged to an archery club until he and Pat moved to Presque Isle up north. As well as his wife he is survived by his two children, Mike (Linda) Verduzco and Laura (Rodger) Sterling, and three grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Gillis and Matthew Verduzco. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Joseph, Francis, Ralph and Carmen. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 3410 Broad St. Dexter, MI 48130. There will be a memorial service beginning at the Funeral Home at 1 PM. Contributions in Edward's memory may be made to Gift of Life of Michigan.
