Rodney was a voracious reader, a sports fanatic with a great knowledge of sports statistics, and an avid board game competitor. He had a quick wit and was a master of trivia. He loved the holidays and family get togethers at the lake house. Rod enjoyed tramping through the woods, building sand castles, and evening fires for roasting hot dogs and making s'mores and fruit pies. We will forever miss Rod and his enthusiasm for family gatherings and love for his family.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 25 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior at the funeral home.
