Robert Donald Sharp

Robert Donald Sharp, born in Alma, MI, on July 15, 1928, to Clifton and Irene (Cassidy) Sharp, passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 93. Bob and his family moved to Lansing, MI, when he was in the 7th grade. After graduating from Eastern High School in the class of 1946, Bob served four and a half in the U.S Navy. A friend introduced him to his future wife at a YWCA dance and they danced through life for 71 years. Bob loved his family and friends and it was easy for him to make them laugh. After retiring from Abrams Instrument Corporation he enjoyed golf, traveling, and living in southern Alabama, eventually returning to Michigan to be near family.

Surviving are his wife Rose, children, Dawn (Ron) Wilcox, Robert (Angel) Sharp, John Sharp, brother, Jack (Nora) Sharp, sister-in-law, Barbara Sharp, grandchildren, Chris (Michele) Berkimer, Melissa (Brandon) Way, Bobby (Holly) Kane, Rainee Kane, ten great-grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bruce Sharp, sister-in-law, Penny Sharp, grandchild, Jennifer Kane, and many dear friends.
