Val, Logan and Parker,
My deepest condolences to you. Although some time has passed, your family has experienced much sadness, and may you find comfort in God and your cherished memories as you go on with your everyday lives.  My first memory of meeting Bob was at a travel baseball game in St. Johns. I was having some car problems, and Bob offered to help me, and take a look at my car. I'll never forget that. He was a very kind person with a big heart and a big smile.

I live in Dansville and heard about Bob's death right after it happened. When first told of the name, I just couldn't believe, and prayed it wasn't Bob McAnallen from Waverly.  Alas, it was.  I haven't seen Bob or Val since our days at Waverly and Burger King in the 1980's.  Although a couple years younger, he was a great guy back then.  In those days, I can remember thinking how perfect a couple he and Val made.  Having lost touch, and now seeing that their relationship lasted all this time is just a fantastic testimony to Val and Bob. I will never forget that smile he had.  It light up the room.   How he was sweet and caring person.   The way he loves his boys and his amazing wife.  So sorry to see you go and I will always remember the great person you were during  school years and after the school years. God blessed to amazing person.

My heart broke when I heard of the loss of Bob. It also warmed when I saw the smile that still lasted in his eyes. As bright as the kid that I remember from my youth. My favorite childhood memory of Bob was looking under rocks in the field for Garter Snakes.  They would somehow disappear before we could take them to school for show and tell.

Dear Carol and Wally -

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother.  I am sending prayers to all of you and hoping some comfort will come to you because of them.

It still doesn't seem possible.  So many great things you have accomplished in your young life.  Your sons are a testament to how great of a father you were.  We have spent so many times together over the years and have so many memories that will live with us forever.  You will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know you!
