Robert James Marble, 72, of Bath, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Bob was born on December 2, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Lawton and Dorothy Marble. Bob was retired from the State of Michigan Highway Department. He was very sports-oriented and was an avid golfer and bowler. Bob always went to the sporting events that his niece and nephews and their children played in. He was generous with his time and loved by so many. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father and younger brother, Ronnie. Bob is survived by his wife, Wilma; sisters, Phyllis (Tony) Kavo and Lois (Tom) Hagy; brother, Darrell (Maryann) Marble; and sisters-in-law, Gail Beasley, and Carol (Daryl) Baxter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name, to Hazel Findley Country Manor, 1101 S. Scott Rd, St. Johns, Michigan 48879. Services will be held at a later date.
